Edinburgh singer/songwriter Adam Holmes, has been a 2010 BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist, as well as receiving a nomination for Best Newcomer at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
Following the BBC Radio Scotland finals Adam went on to feature, alongside fellow finalist and Rura band member Jack Smedley, in the 2009 TMSA Young Trad Tour. Adam continued to make an impression on Scotlands folk scene in 2011 with folk group RURA. Heirs and Graces is Adam's first solo release.
